Conversation in a gift shop

Sister-in-law: (Regarding a conversation we were having) "I can't tell you how much that disturbs me."

Me: (Walking through the store I notice a little sign that has one word on it and that word is 'Disturbed') "Well then here you go Pat. You should wear this." *handing her the sign*

Sister-in-law: "So what are you saying EXACTLY?"

Me: "Um, you JUST said you were DISTURBED!"

Sister-in-law: "Can you believe it Mom? Margie said I should wear this sign." *holds up 'Disturbed' sign*

Me: "No I didn't!"

Mother-in-law: "Margie, that wasn't very nice."

Personally, I think this whole family needs a sign.
