Driving Me Crazy!

After spending the majority of my weekend driving in New Jersey, I was Surprised, Awestruck and Grateful when after I put my blinker on for a lane change today, the driver in the lane beside actually slowed down to let me over.

Living in NH I completely understand. This time of year my town gets filled with out of towners (mostly from NJ, CT,MA and NY)...it's like they don't understand how to be courteous drivers!

Crazy Momma, I feel for you... I really do! Holiday weekends we get them all up and down I-95.

So Lime, you get 'em too eh?

As one who grew up in and learned to drive in NJ, but then moved away and hasn't lived there in decades, I hear you. Whenever we go back to Jersey to visit my family, I get SO stressed out just driving around!

Oh, but I found NH drivers irritating in their own way when we lived up there for a coupla years. Mostly because they never, EVER merge - the total opposite of the Jersey cut-off! They'd ride the yellow line separating the shoulder from the lane until the ramp/lane ended and they were in the lane ahead of you. That was something I never got used to, either.

Cheers!

Heather, I felt the same way when I returned to Southern California for a visit... Ack, terrifying!

Okay, so a visit to New Hampshire is off my list!
