Differentiation
Are there clothes made exclusively for the rich that take into account shape & style, so the rich always look fabulous?
If this is true...
The clothes made for the poor must be made purely to help differentiate the poor from the rich. These items I'll refer to as 'Crap-Rags' feature no special nips or tucks, no fine fabrics and no figure flattering lines. I view this as a conspiracy in order to insure the poor might NEVER be confused with the rich.

you are exactly right. finer fabrics and personal tailoring make a huge difference.
Lime, it sure would be nice to see what difference those tricks could do with this old body.
